Au pair and then? PDF E-mail

An excellent solution for working parents. Au pair originates of the French language and means 'en par', or equal terms. An au pair is accepted as a full member of the family. The most important task is to take care of the children. Therefore you must enjoy to work with and accept children. Waking up together, bring them to school, play games, have lunch, walking, read books, bring them to bed. You will be occupied during the day. Light household is part of your tasks. Your working hours are flexibel, you have at least two days per week free time. Three times a week maximum the host family can ask you to look after the children in the evening hours. For all this you will receive living and pocket money.

You are suitable as an au pair if you're motivated. That's for us important. We kindly ask you to complete the Au Pair Application Form at registration including the necessary documentation (see Au-pair section). A lot of practical and valuable information you can find in the 'Au Pair Guide', which we will sent to you.
